The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics
Kicking off on the 4th February, here at Challenge Trophies, we’re excited about the imminent arrival of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics!
Whether you’re a fan of watching the figure skating, ski jumping, ice hockey, bobsleigh, curling, or all of them, we can guarantee there will be some moments over the next couple of weeks where you’ll be glued to your TV screen.
Team GB have competed at every Winter Olympics, and this year is no different, with Great Britain sending a squad of 50 athletes and reserves to Beijing for the 2022 games. We’ve got all our fingers crossed that we’ll see some shiny medals being paraded by Team GB, adding to the 32 medals which we have gathered since the Winter Olympics begun.
We’ve got Team GB medal winners returning, and a plethora of new athletes. Events we are competing in include: alpine skiing, bobsleigh, cross country skiing, curling, figure skating, freestyle skating, luge, speed skating, skeleton and snowboarding. Some where we have never won a Winter Olympic medal!
